Integration Objects´ OPC Server SDK is a Windows DLL (Dynamic Link Library) that enables you to easily create DA, DX and HDA servers. The OPC Server SDK implements all required and most of the optional OPC Data Access interfaces for 1.0a, 2.0 and 3.0 DA standards, the OPC Data eXchange interface for DX standard and OPC Historical Data Access interfaces for 1.1 and 1.2 HDA standards.

Using this API, the server application is able to collect data directly from one or many OPC DA, HDA and DX servers at once. The OPC Server SDK eliminates the complexity of COM/DCOM communications and provides easy and flexible interfaces for OPC DA, DX and HDA server developments.

  • Implements the latest released specifications for OPC Data Access, Historical Data Access and Data eXchange.
  • Adds/removes OPC server COM entries in the Windows registry.

    • Perform synchronous/asynchronous real-time data reads and writes.

    • Encapsulation of all OPC Data eXchange functionalities.
    • Management of the DX database.
    • Data transfer from OPC DA/DX servers that comply with DA 2.
  • Offers simple callback functions to handle the communication with the real equipment.
  • Support of C++ unmanaged code for MS Visual Studio 6, MS Visual Studio 2005, and Visual Studio 2008. Sample Codes are provided to guide you through the main development steps.
